Our Story

RIS3 Athletic Academy was built from lived experience, passion, and purpose.

Growing up, we understood firsthand what it felt like to love sports while lacking access to many of the opportunities, resources, exposure outlets, and development programs available to others. Travel costs, tournament fees, training expenses, and financial barriers often made high-level opportunities difficult to reach. But we also experienced the life-changing impact sports can have.

Through basketball and athletics, we were able to earn college opportunities, pursue higher education, compete at the collegiate and professional levels, and develop skills that translated far beyond the game: leadership, discipline, confidence, accountability, work ethic, and perseverance. That experience became the foundation behind RIS3.

RIS3 stands for Love, Faith, and Integrity — the values that continue to shape everything we do as an organization, mentors, coaches, and leaders within our community.

We created RIS3 Athletic Academy to provide athletes and families with access to high-level development, mentorship, exposure opportunities, and a supportive environment where athletes can grow both on and off the court. What started through basketball development has expanded into year-round athletic performance training, camps, clinics, strength and conditioning programs, leadership development, and community outreach for athletes across multiple sports.

At RIS3, we are committed to creating an environment that challenges athletes to grow in confidence, leadership, discipline, accountability, and performance, both on and off the court. We believe sports can open doors, create opportunities, and change lives when the right environment and mentorship are present.

Our mission is to help serious and overlooked athletes gain access to the tools, development, confidence, and opportunities needed to pursue success both in sports and in life.

The RIS3 Athletic Center (RAC) is simply the next step in that vision: creating a home where athletes can train, grow, lead, and pursue their goals in an elite environment built on community, development, and opportunity.

RIS3 UP!
